Redefining Ben Franklin’s Words Are You President Bush?

Time will always test the Ben Franklin great experiment,
Try to shred the doctrine of the Free Press Constitution
That somehow a more perfect union can unite a nation
Where a Patriot Act imprisons a countries Civil Liberties.

“NUTS” to you President George W Bush the Conservative,
We will never surrender our souls of Red, White, ‘n Blue.
We are Made in America upon Roots germinating proud,
We are the HeArt Beats of this land’s patriotic pride. 

Mr. President, Mr. War President of Executive Privilege
Your Eminent Domain is not an all-inclusive stranglehold,
Where upon intimidation you redefine things “At Will,”
Our nations Freedom and Democracy under tortured terms.

What kind of political religion will allow Abu Graith pictures
Saying water boarding is a humane Geneva religious practice
Using Guantanamo Power rights of Military Tribunal Inquisitions
To supercede the whole scales of judicial due process Justice.

Sir, our Intelligence is fabricated in divine “Truth.”
We do not use Creative Accounting damn “Lies”
Prefabricated to get into an Iraq Preordained War
Blackwaters billions on billions bankrupting America.

America is not a Patriot Act Chevron Shell,
Who with VP Cheney conspire secretly against our own citizens
To drive prices so high our nation’s fate is put at risk,
People sacrificed at a stake driven through the Constitution.

Yes, many have served as Vietnam Veterans walking wounded
Many coffins were hidden in their service to this Free nation.
And yet today the Afghanistan and Iraqi discharged Veterans
Receive your damn rejection in silencing their very existence.

Oh the sham, oh the shame Ben Franklin in your Journalists,
They have capitulated and prostrated themselves for George.
Bowing to his will of Royalty in autocratic Executive rule
Like an Enron CEO standing on his mountain - watching it fall.

Never before has a Congress shed such a low Franklin image
That they abated their “Homework” duty to even protect US.
A Senate of pompous Royal asses of the House of the Lords
Outsourcing our very existence in a pyre of composted dreams.

But the Phoenix has arisen - born from those ashes to fight
As one by one
“We the people” are born again patriots of the United States.
Standing together against our very own political tyranny
Where a house divided from inside political Benedict forces
Tried to segregate US into slave serfs of a Master Ruling Class.

Yes, the Pyre of America must again arise in defense of principles
Upon that miracle of 1776 Army of the Potomac fighting for Liberty.
Where today we have a greater diversity to fight our battles with
Never redefining the very core of our Constitutional rights Free Speech
And our divine Civil Liberties, so help US God.
The real Conservative Liberal compassionate one,
That hugs America
Not Labels and destroys
It as a demon.
