About Me:

Served in Vietnam from 1968, 1969, and 1970. Served in the 1st Division, Quarter Horse Squadron. Then on special teams working with ARVN units.

Aquired degrees in mining, business, and management. Worked my way through college with a steady midnight job. The GI Bill had been gutted and was useless for covering the cost of education. That is why so few Vietnam Veterans went to college after service.

Chartered Engineer, GB; reciprocity throughout Europe and with former Commonwealth countries. Hold a 50 ton Masters license Merchant Marine, am a Dive Master, was a Chief Inspector of Mines, bomb technician, firefighter, consultant, researcher, Kentucky Colonel, and a few other odd things. 

Worked in both government and industry.  Led trade and technical deligations to Russia, China, Germany, and France.  Spoke at international conferences in Australia, Europe and Asia.  Not well traveled, but traveled. 

Notable Acheivement: Was a member of the committee that built the Colorado Veterans Memorial.
