My Quote:
All of the compassion of the "conservatives" who planned and executed this war would fit on the head of a pin --with enough room left for the heart of a military recruiter.

About Me:
Active duty in the Navy commenced on 18 November, 1957. Attended Gunfire Control "A" School at USNTC, Bainbridge, MD (Class 17-58). Was first assigned to USS Hancock (aircraft carrier), based in San Francisco. On WESPAC cruise, before reaching Japan, a BUPERS SNAFU sent me back to the States for discharge --a year early. Spent final year on USS Sperry (sub tender) out of San Diego. Civilian career includes operating my own TV repair business, and later, Chief Engineer at several radio stations. Hobbies include ham radio (W9JEF), photography, music, and drawing. Retired in June, 2001. Now live in rural Northwest Arkansas, the single father of an eleven-year-old boy.
