+Recommend this blog To this day I am ashamed and sorrowful of a childhood rant. Bigotry has no place whatsoever in the world or in our hearts. And until Peter Pace — or any and all others like him — arrives at the same conclusion, he has no more moral right to lead than, say a David Dukes who would tie a man to a tree and whip him because of a different skin tone. I respect his valor and service to our country.

+Recommend this blog To the private-equity firm managers, we're nothing more than the fish in the barrel. The states have levied fines and have attempted criminal prosecutions, and families have tried to sue, but the entities have been so labyrinth-like structured that there’s no one accountable and no way to pinpoint financial responsibility.

+Recommend this blog If, as he says, President Bush is going to start withdrawing troops from Iraq, why on earth does he need vastly more money from Congress to wage war? The staggering, ever escalating numbers tell the real story: As long as it’s up to Mr. Bush, the American presence in Iraq will be endless and ever more costly, diverting resources from other national priorities that are being ignored or shortchanged.

+Recommend this blog OBVIOUSLY the anti-IRAQINAM, INDEPENDENT, and SWING VOTERS of AMERICA did little to seriously give controll of Congress to any political party or members of Congress who are (1) Intelligenct, (2) Peace loving, or (3) seriously respect the U.S. Constitution.

+Recommend this blog I'm not endorsing anyone, yet New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, a candidate for President, has the support of retired Army Lieutenant General Robert Gard, who calls for a well-planned withdrawal from the Iraq War quagmire. VCS posts Richardson's video describing his plan only as a service to our members to spark discussion about how to end the Iraq War without it turning into another Stalingrad. What do you think?

+Recommend this blog The irreconcilable moral is extended as, as individual servicemen and women and as a country we are truly in peril of losing our soul. We therefore very much need to decide whether that is something we want to — or can — endure.

+Recommend this blog In an OUTSTANDING Washington Post opinion piece this weekend,Perry Bacon Jr. pretty much summed it up for the 3 million members and leadership of MoveOn.org
when they got anger from the NEOCON Republicans and the cold shoulder from NEOCON Democrats for daring to tell it like it is about any General's natural relationship with his Commander-In-Chief. MoveOn like a ROCK is UNMOVED By Furor Over the Ad Targeting General Be Tray Us. (Petraeus) My humble opinion is:

+Recommend this blog George W Bush and the right-wing (Why not ‘wrong’ instead of ‘right’?), neocon, fascistically leaning, US Constitution-crapping-all-over Republicans. Delusion: they’re wrapped in it like moth pupae that fed on garment fabric before so encasing themselves against the bitterness of life and truth outside.

+Recommend this blog This blog is my take on the culture war.
First off, I am not ashamed to say that I am a Christian and basically my world view is traditional.
I do have many intellectual and liberal friends.
The reason we are friends is because of respect for each other, and a willingness to listen with an open mind.

+Recommend this blog PLEASE . . . somehow, somewhere retain the record of this vote against America’s best. Several are up for reelection in 2008, and they’re going to try to squirrel out from under this vote. Let’s not permit them to evade the proof of where their hypocritical heart was when it counted most.

+Recommend this blog While television news overdoses us with distractions about OJ Simpson’s latest arrest, Blackwater USA was busy recklessly killing more civilians in lawless Iraq. Furthermore, while President George W. Bush and General David H. Petraeus spin tales of success without defining success, they run out the clock on the last 16 months of Bush’s term.

+Recommend this blog Editorial Column - The War Party (WELL REALLY WAR MONGERING PARTY OR GIVE WAR A CHANCE - AS LONG AS THERE IS NO CONSCRIPTION PARTY)
This editorial asks the HARD QUESTIONS that REGISTERED VOTERS need to be asking all candidates running for all levels of government at city, county, state, and federal level REGARDLESS OF PARTY, and despite MONETARY belief there are MORE THAN TWO PARTIES that can field candidates IF AMERICA gave just give DEMOCRACY as much a chance to survive IN AMERICA as the rhetoric says we do for IRAQ.

+Recommend this blog In June 1964, I graduated from Allen Park High School, in Allen Park, Michigan. I was an outstanding student, a star athlete, one of the most popular members of my graduating class, and everything subsequent of the school’s location is a myth, a total fabrication, a lie I confected here for a purpose. You see, I’m rewriting my history to make me look better, exactly as the GOP has rewritten from some pretty shabby burlap the tale of Ronald Reagan, to make both him and the Party look better than either he or they ever were.

+Recommend this blog Although watching will be gut-wrenching for some, please watch the HBO documentary, “Alive Day,” on Sunday, September 9, 2007. +Recommend this blog And if Congress can't get it together to force Bush to end this war, then we'd better make sure our next President is prepared to do it their first day in office. I'm the only candidate who has made it clear: I will pull the troops out of Iraq as fast as I can; I will start on my first day in office; and I will leave no troops behind.

+Recommend this blog The longer any human being does anything under stress, the more prone they are to errors of judgment. I don’t give a damn who you are, how sharp you are, you are not as sharp after working a time under stress as you were when you were fresh.
